The new ASUS home modem has arrived on the market
ASUS continues to churn out new accessories and products for the tech sector; in fact, in the last few hours, the company presented the new modem router ASUS DSL-AX82U.
We are talking about the ideal product for those who want a stable and reliable network for work from home, for streaming and for long gaming sessions, without sacrificing quality. The latest ASUS home router relies on technology Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), which allows you to transfer files at a speed limit of 5400 Mbps.
The aforementioned type of Wi-Fi allows you to cover large areas for a single network, combined with AiMesh, which allows us to install a mesh configuration with the appropriate routers, further extending the range of action of the router. In addition we also find the adaptive QoS (Quality of Service), which allows us to always have optimal network management; in simpler terms, the modem manages the traffic of packets traveling on it, assigning dynamic priorities.
More intensive applications, such as video streaming, gaming, and download / upload will therefore take precedence over other functions.
But that's not all; ASUS cares about the safety of its consumers, and consequently on the new ASUS DSL-AX82U we find AiProtection Pro for free, obviously for life. The aforementioned platform protects all types of devices connected to Wi-Fi from malware, phishing and all other dangers that run on the network: in addition we find a parental control system, equipped with predefined but customizable "profiles", for the protection of minors.
