How Babbel works
Learn through fun mini games and picture quizzes about travel, family, business and food. After learning a few words and phrases, Babbel asks you to speak aloud. The app uses speech recognition to provide real-time feedback.
Learning takes 10-15 minutes each day and you can take the lessons offline. The app offers 14 languages in total, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian and more.

Is Babbel free? - subscription costs
Learning a language with this app is not free, it offers you the opportunity to try a free lesson and then you will have to pay a subscription which can be: € 9.95 for the monthly subscription; € 19.95 for the quarterly subscription; € 33.30 for the six-monthly subscription (the most sold); 59.40 € for the annual subscription.
You can then create a free account on the official website and try the service with the first free lesson. Only after that, if you want, you can decide whether to purchase a subscription plan and unlock the lessons for the language of your choice.

How to log in from a computer
To log into Babbel from a computer:
- Visit the page https://it.babbel.com/
- Click on Log in top right.
- Enter your email address and password.
- If you don't want to enter your details every time you open Babbel, please tick the box Remember me on this computer.
- Click on Log in.
How to access from smartphones and tablets
If you haven't already, download the latest version of our app here: https://it.babbel.com/mobile
Then touch Log in, enter your email address and password and confirm.
How to cancel Babbel subscription
Cancel subscription purchased from the website
If you have purchased a subscription on the Babbel website, you can cancel the automatic renewal on the page Account Information of your profile. You will receive a confirmation email to the address you used to register with Babbel.
After cancellation, you will continue to have access to your courses until the end of the period you have purchased.
Cancel subscription purchased on iPhone or iPad via Apple ID
If you made a purchase through an iOS app, go to the Settings of your iOS device, tap your name e iTunes Store e App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. Touch View Apple ID and subsequently Subscriptions. Select Babbel and touch Cancel subscription.
After cancellation, you will continue to have access to your courses until the end of the period you have purchased.
Cancel subscription purchased on Android smartphones and tablets with Google Play
If you purchased your subscription via an Android app, open thegoogle play app Store, tap Subscriptions, select Babbel, touch Cancel and confirm.
After cancellation, you will continue to have access to your courses until the end of the period you have purchased.
