You can now also pay for your Amazon purchases through your bank account. All you have to do is add it to your Amazon account payment methods.
All you need are:
- codice BIC (codice SWIFT)
- IBAN
- the name and surname of the current account holder
How to pay for Amazon orders from a bank account
Now we will explain to you how to add your bank account as a form of payment on Amazon.
Add bank account on Amazon from website
- Go to the Amazon site and log in with your credentials.
- Once done, move the mouse to the top right on accounts and lists to bring up the menu. Here click on my account.
- Now click on Payment options.
- In the new page that opens named My payment methods you will see the entry Enter a new bank account. Click on the link that says Add a checking account.
- Now fill in the required code fields BIC (codice SWIFT), your IBAN and the name of the account holder. Once done, press the button Add a checking account and follow the instructions to complete and verify your account.
- Once the procedure is complete, you can make purchases on Amazon by debiting them directly from your current account.
Add bank account on Amazon from mobile app
- Open the Amazon app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left and tap on my account.
- Now find and press Manage Payment Options.
- Once on the payment options management window, tap on Add a payment method.
- Here you will find a link that says Enter a new bank account tap to open the form where you can enter the account information.
- Now enter the name of the account holder, the Iban code and the code BIC (codice SWIFT).
- Done press on press the button Add a checking account and follow the instructions to complete and verify your account.
- Once the procedure is complete, you can make purchases on Amazon by debiting them directly from your current account.
Note:
The bank account is debited only when the ordered items are shipped. For digital orders, your account will be charged when we send the download link. Some orders can only be paid for by credit card. If the order is split into multiple shipments, you will see the amounts of the individual shipments on your statement.
