HP today announced various innovations for its range of Omen products, the one dedicated to gamers, which will see both new laptops and new peripherals including mouse and headphones arrive on the market over the next few months.
The main novelty concerns the new Omen 15 notebook which is renewed starting from the design conceived both to reduce the size and to give a less whimsical aesthetic and more suitable for use both for games and in the workplace; the case has also been designed to facilitate upgrades, with dedicated ram and disk openings. Another novelty will be the possibility to choose between variants with processors of the tenth generation Intel Core or the 4000 series of AMD's Ryzen7, in both flanked by NVIDIA GPUs - between the GTX1650 and the RTX2700 Super MaxQ-, up to 32GB of DDR4 Ram and up to 1TB of storage on PCIe SSD.
Depending on the model chosen, buyers will be able to find both FullHD (up to 300Hz) and UltraHD screen options with frequencies up to 120Hz, all from 15.6 ", with the possibility of connecting up to 3 external screens. Prices for the United States will start around $ 999 for base models, rising to over $ 2.000 for top-of-the-line models.
As for the peripherals, two mice are coming, OMEN Vector and OMEN Vector Essential: the first is the top model, with a 16.000DPI sensor designed for esports, Omron switches guaranteed for 50 million clicks and adjustable weight, while the second is positions as an entry model, with 7.200DPI sensor and switches guaranteed for 20 million clicks. Both share much of the design reaching the same weight of 88g. The Vector will be available in June with a price tag of around $ 49,99, while the Vector Essential will arrive in July with a price tag of around $ 29,99.
On the audio side, HP presents three new products, starting with the OMEN Dyad Earbuds, compact headphones with dual drive design. HP earbuds are compatible with any device equipped with a 3,5mm jack, and integrate both the microphone and the basic controls for the volume and the microphone itself in the cable. The expected price for the OMEN Dyad Earbuds is around $ 49,99.
The HP X1000 Wireless Gaming Headset, on the other hand, is a pair of wireless over-ear headphones, equipped with a foldable microphone, capable of offering up to 20 hours of use on a single charge. They connect to the PC (or PS4) via an included USB stick, which can be stored inside the left ear cup for transport, and support virtual 7.1 surround sound. The HP X1000 Gaming Speakers, on the other hand, are a set of 2.1 speakers consisting of two satellites characterized by an angular design and an RGB illuminated band, to be placed on the desk, accompanied by a subwoofer. The arrival on the market of both headphones and speakers is expected for the month of August with a starting price of $ 99,99
To close, a new HP Pavilion Gaming 16 notebook will arrive in June which will offer a 16,1 "monitor, 2060th generation Intel CPU and nvidia GPU up to the RTX 799, with a starting price of $ 249,99, while in October, with an introductory price of $ 24, the X1500c monitor is expected to come on the market with a curved panel (144R) FullHD XNUMXHz with freesync support.
