A large selection of MSI's LGA1200 socket motherboards, based on the Intel chipset Z490, was disclosed on the web. MSI is leading at least 10 motherboard models based on the Z490, with prices starting from around € 200 (probably including taxes). It looks like socket motherboards LGA1200 will significantly more expensive compared to the previous generation, due to the higher requirements for CPU VRMs. The lineup starts with the Z490-A Pro for 200 €. Z490 Gaming Plus and Z490 Tomahawk presumably are priced at € 210 and € 240, respectively. Z490M Gaming Edge WiFi, Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi and Z490 Gaming Pro Carbon go respectively to 250€, 250€ e 330€. The range Premium MEG includes the Z490I Unify at 330 € (ATX), lo Z490 Unify to 360 €, lo Z490 Ace a 520€ and Z490 GODLIKE, in 960€.
Plus all the modern connectivity options you could want, including Thunderbolt, 10 GbE, USB 3.2 x2 (20 Gbps), 802.11ax WLAN and five M.2 slots, the MEG Z490 GODLIKE seems to have a HEDT similar to 18-phase VRM that draws power from two 8-pin EPS connectors and enough overclocking capability to try and justify the near-four-figure price tag. The MGG Z490M Gaming Edge WiFi constitutes the “mid-range” of the range, for gaming PCs with one of the next 1200th generation Core LGA490 processors. The MPG ZXNUMX Gaming Plus replaces the red and black color scheme of its predecessors, with a black color scheme with a hint of LED RGB.
