Nuki, European leader in the market of intelligent home access systems, has received an important international recognition for the security of its devices. The flagship product Nuki Combo 2.0 it has in fact been certified as "Safe Smart Home Product" byAV-TEST Institute, well-known German organization that guarantees internationally relevant quality comparisons and safety tests.
The Nuki smart lock was the first in 2018 to be awarded this important safety certification, which is then confirmed year after year. Today, the new Nuki bundle, which includes the Smart Lock 2.0 launched on the market a few months ago, has also been judged in compliance with all the requirements for cyber security. An even more important recognition since it is a product for access at home.
The AV-TEST Institute, based in Magdeburg, is an independent global leader in providing IT security and anti-virus solutions. In April 2020, their experts analyzed Nuki products closely, focusing on Nuki Combo 2.0 - consisting of Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 and Nuki Bridge - and the Nuki app (for iOS and Android). Both have undergone the AV-TEST quality assurance procedure and have passed all tests, both on the hardware and software side, obtaining the certificate of “Safe Smart Home Product”.
