The arrival of PlayStation 5 is getting closer and Mark Cerny points to a feature of PlayStation 5. Sony has thus revealed that the technology 3D Tempest audio will be available from the launch of the console. This technology is divided into two separate audio modes: the first part is the possibility of using this feature with official and compatible headphones; the second part allows you to take advantage of this technology with the TV speaker.
Sony specifies that: This technology allows all accessories “compatible” with 3D audio to take advantage of the 3D Tempest audio compatibility with supported games. Sony confirms that everyone who buys headphones Wireless Pulse 3D can take full advantage of this feature but emphasizes that it is possible to take advantage of the technology with other "compatible" accessories, connected via USB or 3,5mm jack on the controller Dualense.

- Astro's Playroom
- Returnal
- Destruction Allstars
- Demon's Souls
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Resident evil village
The 3D Tempest feature at launch is only available for headphones, later comes for TV speakers.
