Acer launches the new Rugged ENDURO Urban series

The new series of Rugged devices will arrive in June

Acer, the tech giant known all over the world, has presented a new line of products in the last few hours ENDURO; among these we find the new notebooks URBAN N3 and tablets URBAN T1, which will join the range of professional devices rugged.

When we mention rugged products we are talking about devices capable of withstanding the hardest shocks or the most difficult environmental conditions; characteristics that we find in the new ENDURO Urban, devices that are equipped with a solid frame resistant to shocks, falls, infiltration of water, dust and extreme temperatures. But ENDURO products are not just resistance: among their features we find a high brightness FHD screen, which allows us to read the contents easily, even outdoors, without having to worry about the external light or any reflections.

As you can understand then, ENDURO Urban is a series suitable for consumers who need a device that can withstand their adventures, useful for the family environment, for the study, for leisure activities or for outdoor excursions, since the their resistance allows them to accompany a multitude of hectic situations.

So let's go see the first product, the new notebook Acer ENDURO Urban N3: the new 14 ”has an adequate size for travel, given its low weight of 1,85 kg and its thickness of just 21,95 mm.

This PC has been tested with military standard certification MIL-STDH 810 is that IP53, able to offer the resistances mentioned above. As if that were not enough, on the notebook we also find bumpers at the corners, together with waterproof components such as the connection ports, the speakers and the keys, combined with a water-repellent Acer Aquafan fan, able to expel any water infiltration.

Inside we find an 7th generation Intel Core i330, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce MX1. On the memory side we find a 32 TB SSD and up to 4 GB of DDR4 RAM; a USB type C port, a slot for SD cards, a Thunderbolt 6 port, Wi-Fi 13 and a battery that allows you to work up to 450 hours, even with XNUMX nits of brightness, complete the whole. In short, an excellent device for working outside, given the large components that characterize it.

Let's now turn to the tablet ENDURO Urban T1, a product designed to meet the needs of parents who want to share both indoor and outdoor moments of study or fun with their children; the new T1 is flexible and meets certification MIL-STD 810H and the standard IP5. We are talking about a perfect device to be used by the youngest: in fact, its shockproof design, with bumper and waterproof interior, is excellent for the aforementioned age group, as they could run into more clumsy accidents.

The new Acer tablet is equipped with a 10 ”Full HD screen, with a brightness of over 450 nits, and a multitouch that guarantees up to 10 simultaneous presses that allows the use of any multimedia content without problems. The aforementioned display also has a treatment Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass, equipped with an ionic silver component to keep the screen clean.

Finally, inside we find a dual band Wi-Fi, a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP rear camera, useful for any outdoor teaching lessons; the battery is able to withstand up to 8 hours, combined with a quad-core processor that runs Android 10 in its GO Edition.

We therefore conclude with the prices: Acer ENDURO Urban N3 (EUN314-51W) will be available from June with prices starting from € 999; the ENDURO Urban T1 tablet (EUT110) will also be available starting in June with prices ranging from € 269 upward.
