Respawn Entertainment has announced the first details on Apex Legends Mobile, the similar smartphone version of the battle royale already available on PC and console. The Game Director of the game, Chad Grenier, talked about this project dedicated to Android and iOS devices.
First, it is emphasized that Apex Legends Mobile it will arrive first in the Philippines and India, through a series of limited closed beta tests that will take place over the course of the Spring 2021 (at the moment there is no precise date yet). This first trial version will only be available on Android, then the regions will be expanded and the iOS version will also be added. Subsequently, a page will be activated where you can pre-register to request access.
Apex Legends Mobile is a different and separate version of the game, for this reason it will not be possible to play cross-play with the PC and console versions. The battle royale coming out on iOS and Android however, it will remain free to play with a battle pass, cosmetics and unlockables. Respawn also adds that Apex Legends Mobile was created by an internal team, made up of expert mobile developers, all under the supervision and collaboration of the team dedicated to the original title.
