The new Assassin's Creed Valhalla features a mechanic, already present in Odyssey, which allows you to purchase some unique items through a special shop that will require opal as payment. It is a fairly rare resource to find in the game world, but it can be found more easily through some contracts that you can accept from the different merchants of the Thousand Eyes located in different cities. The first of these is Reda, the leader of this particular guild of merchants, who will open a shop right in your camp after you have completed the story arc of "The Song of Soma" in the Grantebridgescire.
From now on you will get access to these contracts which are renewed on a daily basis, while the shop will have weekly and daily unique items. The peculiarity is that the missions linked to these contracts seem to be generated in a completely random way so that, taking for example a contract to eliminate a target, this will be chosen randomly among all the NPCs present in the game. Fortunately, however, there seems to be a bug not foreseen by Ubisoft and which can greatly simplify our life: it would seem that among these characters are currently also included the training dummies present in our settlement.
It could therefore happen that we have to walk a few meters to eliminate a totally defenseless target, obtaining opal almost for free, but which according to the mission has committed atrocious crimes for which it must be punished.; the bug may even have more disturbing implications as you can see in this video. Among the numerous bugs present in Assassin's Creed Valhalla at least in this case it is something that can benefit us by simplifying the obtaining of opal and saving us some time.
