Benq, a well-known monitor company, has announced the release of the latest SW321C monitor, which will add to the Benq range of monitors intended for professional use.
The SW321C monitor is a 32-inch monitor equipped with an IPS panel. The resolution reached by this product is UHD (4K 3840 × 2160 pixels). As for the refresh rate it reaches up to 60 Hz, the maximum brightness reached is instead of 250 nits. The contrast ratio is 1000: 1 and the GtG response time is 5 ms. The angle of view is 178 ° and respects the standard used in IPS panels. In addition, the monitor in question features 95% color coverage of DCI-P3 and a calibration for DeltaW <2.
The SW321C monitor is compatible with HDR10 technology which, however, due to the brightness of 250 nits you will not be able to see real changes to the HDR content. The monitor supports the Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) standard, an unusual and very interesting feature. As for connectivity, there is a DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB-C input. Also there is a USB HUB consisting of two USB ports and an SD card reader.
The price and availability regarding this monitor are unknown at the moment. Most likely it will hit the scales of shops in the coming months.
