Ninja Theory closes the taps of Bleeding Edge: Microsoft exclusive multiplayer will not receive updates about new content less than a year after the game's release. The terse note released on Twitter reads:
With the studio focused on other projects (Senua`s Saga, Project Mara and The Insight Project), we have decided that there will be no more content updates for Bleeding Edge. The game will continue to be available on Xbox and PC. Thanks to the fans, keep teaming up and wreaking havoc.
Bleeding Edge is a multiplayer that has been received lukewarmly in the newsroom, and has never managed to become popular enough. The boys of Ninja Theory had packaged an online multiplayer à la Apex Legends, free within the Xbox Game Pass offer, but it will no longer be updated with maps, characters and the like.
All the attention of the studio, launched after Hellblade: Senua`s Sacrifice, will focus on the three projects: the sequel to Hellblade, Project Mara, which will create an experience of mental terror through scientific reports and research, e The Insight Project, along the lines (an experimental project, we read on the official website). This theme is very dear to the developers, who have used Hellblade as a springboard to donate £ 100.000 to mental health organizations and create a scholarship, Senua's Scholarship, to help train the specialists of tomorrow.
