A new horror coming from northern Europe.
A disturbing new horror game was announced at E2021's IGN Expo 3 conference.
Developed by the Swedish independent software house Dimfrost Studio, Bramble: The Mountain King revealed himself to the world thanks to a trailer that plays with the contrast between scenes with an extremely different atmosphere: from the light-heartedness of a little girl's games to a cold-blooded murder, from a run near a lake to dark creatures with bright eyes.
The video below can be viewed left us mixed feelings. Some scenes seem to be inspired by the excellent Little Nightmares, others (like the one of the waterlily leaves run) to Grounded.
It is also impossible not to grasp the similarity between the disturbing figure emerging from the lake and the little girl from The Ring.
In short, if the impressions of the trailer were confirmed in the final game, we could be faced with a truly scary horror game.
