After, with the arrival of the latest update, Call of Duty: Warzone has approached the new chapter of the Black Ops series with the addition of new weapons and a new map, it seems to be getting closer and closer to the conclusion of the narrative arc of Modern Warfare in Battle Royale mode. Precisely for this reason, some rumors suggest changes in sight for the game map. In particular, the well-known active leaker on Twitter as “ModernWarzone” identifies a possible new location coming to Call of Duty: Warzone.

The new map would be set in the Ural Mountains, the huge mountain range that stretches for over 2.500 kilometers in Russian territory. This is obviously a guess and, although the source is usually reliable, we just have to wait for an official confirmation.
The Ural mountains are also present in the campaign of the last chapter of the series set in the period of the cold war, and could therefore also be introduced in the Battle Royale, so as to accompany the transition of Call of Duty: Warzone towards a greater focus on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
