Announced during E3 2019, Cris Tales had a first official release date for November 17, 2020 then disregarded, as has happened for many other titles. Long last Modus Games has made official that Cris Tales will have a new launch window set for July 2021.

The title is characterized by a very interesting graphic style and pays tribute to the great jrpg classics of the past by including some original features as the possibility, for the protagonist Crisbell, to be able to travel in time to sneak up on the enemy and help the citizens of the kingdoms of Crystallis.
