Despite yet another postponement announced not too long ago, CD Projekt RED is continuing to constantly release information about Cyberpunk 2077, the role-playing game inspired by the famous board game. Following the release of the track "No Save Point" - composed by the rap duo Run The Jewels - gamers, who are anxiously awaiting the release of the game, have noticed a verse clearly referring to Keanu Reeves.
The latter, in Cyberpunk 2077, plays Johnny Silverhand and the fact that in a song on the soundtrack reference is made to the actor himself - and not his character - has suggested that Reeves could be canon. Patrick K. Mills, Senior Quest Designer of CD Projekt RED, also intervened on the matter, who confirmed the hypotheses of the fans, explaining why Keanu Reeves is canon in the context of the game.
Mills has in fact stated that Reeves, in Cyberpunk 2077, will be a semi-unknown actor who, due to his resemblance to Johnny Silverhand, will be exchanged for the latter after the disappearance of the Rockerboy.
The KR lyric is lore friendly. It's an in universe cultural reference to KR, a little known Collapse-era actor who bore and uncanny resemblance to Johnny Silverhand, and in the years following Johnny's disappearance, was frequently mistaken for JS. ?? https://t.co/AxpPvlww97

Now that fan assumptions have been confirmed, all that remains is to wait for more information that the Polish software house could release on Cyberpunk 2077 until the day of release.
