After the difficult crossing in the fearful and dark Lost Bastille, the inexorable clash with the woman who in the gloomy structure was chained and imprisoned arrives: the Lost Sinner. This being represents one of the most difficult bosses to face in the whole game (especially in NG + and later) and, for this reason, we invite you to follow our strategy to be able to prune the skin at home.
Strategy and useful tips:
Before facing this boss, know that you will do it in a dark arena: for this reason, when he jumps the pointer will be removed, making you lose sight of the Sinner. Also be aware that if you walk away from her, the Sinner will be inclined to use leaps and lunges, her most dangerous attacks. Therefore always stay close to her during the fight. Always go around it and attack it once or twice, always keeping your shield up the rest of the time. Please note that he is a boss capable of inflicting very large damage and creating many difficulties. Always standing behind him and attacking only at the end of a combo and with a few hits you shouldn't have too much trouble. Always try to dodge when jumping and crashing, as this blow is capable of taking your guard off, thus leaving you exposed and at the mercy of its attacks.
Know another thing: if you have already beaten i Gargoyle of the Bell, you will have a key that will give you the possibility to access two rooms located before the Sinner. Inside them it will be possible to light the pitch with the torch, making sure that the boss arena is illuminated.
We also remind you that in NG + the Sinner will have company (two pyromancers) and will be much more dangerous.
You can summon Lucatiel of Mirrah if you want help in the fight, but remember to clean up before you do, because otherwise it is likely that you will not come alive in the fight.
Attacks:
- Multi Slash: The Sinner executes a combo of two or three slashes with her Greatsword
- Lunge: lunge with the broadsword
- Front Charge: the Sinner executes a charge with a final lunge; beware that this attack has a long range
- Jump and crash: the boss jumps very high (losing sight) and will try to hit you in the head; dodge this attack absolutely
- Disengagement: The Lost Sinner will jump backwards, causing you to lose the target
Drop:
- Soul of the Lost Sinner
- 45000 anime
- Soul of the Ancient Witch (in NG +)
Lore:
This frightening creature, which reveals itself as a woman with a deformed and tortured body, with chained hands - a sign of a serious sin committed - is the first of the "Four Lords" of Dark Souls II, here identified as "the four beings with souls more powerfull". Many conjectures have been made about it, but all of them are the result of mere speculation. The most fascinating theory is undoubtedly the one that the Sinner would actually be one of the daughters of chaos, or even the same Witch of Izalith herself (one of the Lords of the first Dark Souls), captured because in search of the First Flame of this' another space-time dimension. It remains, however, one of the most fascinating beings created by FromSoftware.
