Dead By Daylight, with the advent of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, will receive a new graphic overhaul with a series of free updates starting next year. Users who own the copy for the current console generation will have the option to upgrade to the next-gen version for free.
This new update, called The Realm Beyond, will improve the graphics sector, lighting, animations and much more in the current versions of the game. Specifically, continued support with the advent of cross-play and more realistic modeling for characters. Many aspects will be improved and will be included in the game according to the line-up of updates, ie every six weeks.
Having recently surpassed thirty million players, these updates come in light of Dead By Daylight's release for next-generation consoles. The game will harness the full power of the new consoles by reaching 4K resolution at 60 FPS. Players who own Dead By Daylight will be able to upgrade to the new console version while retaining all previous progress.
