Let's talk again about the new chapter of the Capcom Hack and Slash series, Devil May Cry 5, released last March 8 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; title that is making a lot of talk about itself among historical fans and all video game enthusiasts.
One of the reasons for this success in terms of audiences and critics was certainly, in addition to a good narrative, the excellent gameplay, especially as regards the level of challenge in front of which the players will find themselves. Indeed, the game provides several possibilities of choice regarding the in-game difficulty, including the DMD mode, an abbreviation for Dante Must Die Mode, which can be considered the most difficult path in the game.
But what is this DMD mode in detail? It is precisely, as we said, the most difficult mode present in Devil May Cry 5, in which all enemies are much more powerful and present in the vast majority of cases a double amount of health points compared to the simpler modes. In addition to this, these enemies are also able to use particularly powerful combo attacks during battles.
Typically, this mode is only unlockable after beating the game in the hardest mode already in the base game. However, there is a way to unlock it without necessarily having to wait to finish a run.
To be able to get it there is another method a bit difficult in terms of gameplay, that is beat Urizen during the prologue, so that you can automatically access both SOS and DMD modes.
And you? Do you want to try the difficult task of being able to immediately unlock this mode only through the defeat of Urizen?
