Dying Light 2, sequel to the signed horror title Techland and dating back to 2015, following the announcement regarding his future arrival he disappeared from the spotlight, leaving players in a stalemate full of trepidation.
To break the silence, not long ago, it was a member of the team behind the game, who took advantage of the server Discord official to announce the release of the second chapter later this year and the forthcoming arrival of further details regarding its features.
Bringing the title back into the spotlight was an image that, appearing on a retail store website and removed almost immediately, would reveal all the potential contents of the Collector's Edition of Dying Light 2.
The latter, according to the photo, would seem quite rich, and would include: a Steelbook case, an Art Book perfect for seeing all the game details, a flashlight and a set of stickers, combined with the detailed statue representing the protagonist intent on exploiting parkour to face a zombie. All these contents will finally be enclosed in a special collection box.
At the moment the Techland has not released official announcements regarding this edition, as well as on the possible window scheduled for the release of Dying Light 2. The only aspects on which the company wanted to clarify were those concerning some rumors, addressed in particular to one of the authors and designers of the game and its artistic director.
The first would have in fact abandoned the studio following some allegations of sexual violence, while the second would have decided to say goodbye to the studio after 22 years of collaboration: similar details could have led to a further postponement of the game's release, but Techland he assured that this is not the case. All that remains is to wait for further communications from the team concerned.
