The release of Elden Ring has been officially postponed. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have just announced that the highly anticipated action RPG will hit the shelves of physical and digital stores a few weeks later than previously said.
Important message:
ELDEN RING will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.

The game scheduled for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC will arrive on February 25, 2022, instead of January 21 next year.. In short, it is a short delay, of one month and four days, which will allow to offer players the best possible experience. In communicating the news, the team's spokespersons said they had made this decision "because the depth and strategic freedom of the game have exceeded initial expectations".

To pass the wait, some enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try a trial version of Elden Ring. Just before the postponement, the arrival of a Closed Network Test scheduled for November 2021 was revealed. Trying to be one of the lucky ones is simple, just register on the official website, as shown in the tweet above, and then wait for a possible reply by email. The game sessions will be divided into five phases ranging from 12 to 15 November.
It is good to specify that we are talking about a test that FromSoftware grants to some players to steal the strength of the multiplayer system of the title and will not represent the final version scheduled for 25 February 2022.
