E3 2019: FromSoftware announces on the Xbox Elden Ring conference stage. The new project by Hidetaka Miyazaki, co-written with British author George RR Martin, wins over audiences and players who follow the Los Angeles event from home. However, it will take another two years before we take a look at the gameplay, with a screaming reveal at Geoff Keighley's Summer of Gaming. Now only the release is missing and with the release of the launch trailer we can say it: now it's all true.
In the course of today, in fact, Elden Ring has shown itself in its final trailer, the last, which accompanies a release perhaps waited for too long. After the last minute postponements, the entry into the gold phase and the many previews that accompanied the fans, we are now there. The home game FromSoftware, the first original IP after the success of the Dark Souls series (and after the excellent Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice), it exists and is now ready to be played by millions of fans all over the world.
The video, which you will find immediately below, shows the gameplay and allows us, once again, to get in touch with the story imagined by Hidetaka Miyazaki and the game world shaped by George RR Martin. A video that shows us how the title is now practically ready for debut. If you want to experience the last official appointment in view of the release with Elden Ring, we invite you to view the video immediately, simply by clicking the Play button!
While waiting for the reviews, we remind you once again of the long-awaited appointment: Elden Ring will be available starting Friday 25 February 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC. Keep following Tom's Hardware for all the news and announcements in the pipeline from the world of video games.
