The arrival of the TOTS, that is the new player cards belonging to the teams of the year, have inevitably revolutionized the economy of FIFA 20 and its pivotal mode: the FUT. THE new players, who have invaded the competitive sphere of the title in a period in which the teams are largely formed (and, therefore, destined to change), have a common characteristic, namely that of being "equipped" with potential and above all of potentially devastating statistics and able to upset even more the already far from idyllic equilibrium of the online game of the little boy of Electronic Arts.
Everything nice? No, because as we have already explained to you extensively FIFA 20 is a very (too much) based title on Microtransactions, and the arrival of these players on the market has done nothing but widen the gap between the different types of players. To further complicate things (but not entirely) we think then that sort of forced balance given to the various cards. It must be said that this list is based on factors such as the impact of "hybridity”Of the players, of theirs value for money and, of course, of them actually yield in the field, beyond all numbers.

Goalkeepers
- Alisson Becker (Liverpool, 97)
At the top of our ranking of the most suitable goalkeepers for the game we certainly find the Liverpool goalkeeper. The former Roma, apart from a very high level of overall (97) is one of the strongest goalkeepers around but we put him in first place for other reasons as well. The real strength of Alisson in fact, the hybridization index is very high, being the Brazilian player and playing in one of the best leagues like the English one. The price, then, is all in all reasonable.
- Steve Mandanda (Marseille, 92)
French, reliable and cheap. Steve Mandanda is the perfect profile for those (many) who have decided to build a team based on French players. Its "basic" versions, in truth, are not very fashionable, but we are convinced that this TOTS version can represent a splendid opportunity for many players.
- Marc Andre Ter Stegen (95, Barcelona)
In third place in our ranking we find him, the most used goalkeeper and if we want loved the game. The extreme defender of the Barcelona, in its countless versions it is certainly one of the most reliable and also in this version TOTS represents a safe choice for many players. He plays in Spain and is German, so he can hybridize quite easily.
Defenders
- Stefan De Vrij (Inter, 95)
Dutch, militant in Serie A and extremely reliable, Stefan De Vrij (from ex Lazio, the undersigned is feeling bad in recommending it) is perhaps one of the best choices at the moment on the market. The fact that it has a really low and super reasonable price does nothing but increase its palatability.
- Nordi Mukiele (Leipzig, 89)
Tall, fast, incredibly good on defense, Nordi Mukiele, revelation of the year in Germany, is one of the most recommended players in that of FIFA 20. In addition to the obvious statistics, to enormously increase the appeal of the card is its nationality (French) and its price, very affordable for what it offers.
- Marquinhos (94, Paris Saint-Germain)
The central of the PSG it is certainly one of the most suitable choices in terms of hybridity and quality. We are talking about a fast and extremely agile player, ideal for keeping up with the very fast attackers who have come out in recent weeks. The fact that he is Brazilian helps him a lot in terms of matching with the various Alissons etc. and then it doesn't cost much. Give us a little thought!
- Denzel Dumfries (90, PSV)
Remaining on the subject of surprises, we cannot fail to mention the PSV right-back, recently released on the market with TOTS of the Eredivise. We are talking about a very fast right-back, physically strong and with an excellent defensive phase, capable of keeping up with even the most difficult of opposing attackers. It costs very little, because it plays in Holland, but it is Dutch, therefore easily hybridizable. If you are aiming for a mixed team, this is probably the best choice for you!
- Theo Hernandez (94, Milan)
Staying on the subject of fast and reliable full-backs, we cannot fail to return to Italy and mention the surprising player of Milan, the protagonist of a splendid season so far. Let's talk about Theo Hernandez, one of the fastest and most physically strong of the whole game, of French nationality and therefore easily hybridizable. It's true, he suffers a bit on the defensive and there are many valid left-backs but, for us, it remains a more than valid choice.
Midfielders
- Gabriel (92, Benfica)
The "total" central of Benfica is in no uncertain terms one of the most welcome surprises of these TOTS. Complete and reliable in every respect - and above all valid in play - Gabriel is one of the best choices because of his nationality (Brazilian) easily ibradible even in complex and inhomogeneous teams. It costs very little and makes incredible. What are you waiting for?
- Toni Kroos (96, Real Madrid)
In its basic versions, Toni Kroos he was probably one of the most unusable "real" top players in the whole game. With the arrival of the TOTS card, everything has changed because, believe us (we have used it for over 100 games) with the help of a valid understanding style (Shadow, for example) the good Toni becomes a real machine war on the pitch, strong in all phases of the game and extremely reliable. Then he is German and plays in Spain. What more do you want from life?
- Donny van de Beek (94, Ajax)
A half who can also play, practically, in attack, as an attacking midfielder and is also a perfect central defender? Exists! He plays in the Netherlands and is Dutch (therefore hybridizable quietly) but for this reason it costs relatively little. For these reasons, we can only recommend the purchase because, once seen on the playing field, you will fall in love with it. Believe it!
- Fernandinho (91, Man. City)
Brazilian of the Premier strong in all phases of the game and the cost more than accessible? There is! Fernandinho, in case you are looking for such a profile, is your choice obliged. But, caution: after trying it there is no going back!
- Rafa (93, Benfica)
Very fast, very cold in front of goal and able as few to split the games in two by taking over from the bench, Rafa is one of the strongest players introduced with the TOTS, but at the same time cheaper. Being Portuguese it is not exactly easy to hybridize, but even starting from the bench it could give you great satisfaction. We tell you this from experience!
Forwards
- Hulk (94, Shanghai FC)
Too bad for that number three under "Weaker foot". In the event that it had been even a bit higher, we would have found one of the most devastating strikers in the game by the hand: powerful, fast and Brazilian, a perfect mix for any team, easy to take home thanks to a very low market cost. In case you need a good Brazilian, above all, the ex Zenit is definitely the man for you!
- Lorenzo Insigne (93, Naples)
In his basic version, despite his incredible speed and agility, the Napoli winger turned out to be an incomplete player, unable to "hurt" the defenses due to an ineffective shot. In this version, however, Lorenzo Insigne has become a real sniper, characterized by the usual incredible speed and a renewed skill in front of goal. He is cheap, he is Italian and plays in Serie A, he can hybridize more or less easily and, believe us, for that amount, it is difficult to find better on the left wing.
- Jamie Vardy (95, Leicester)
This time we went a little further economically, but not that much. By managing to save some money, in fact, you could take home one of the most lethal strikers in the whole game and that, playing in the Premier, you could hybridize with ease. Let's talk about the Leicester hero, the football miracle of the decade, let's talk about Jamie Vardy, a real goal machine. If you have one Premier or a mixed team (let's talk from the top of our 170 goals in 156 games with the aforementioned) Vardy is the man for you. As the British tabloids would say, after all, "oh my, it's Jamie Vardy!".
- Adama Traore (89, Wolverhampton)
To conclude, we cannot fail to mention one of the most "buggy" players in the whole game, one capable of splitting games in two like few others. We are obviously talking about the good old Adama, characterized by a level of speed and physical strength (99 and 99) unprecedented making him one of the most unbalanced attacking outsiders in the game. Its TOTS version is cheap due to the "3" in weak foot, but it is still a real sacred monster of this FUT 2020. The fact that it is Spanish also makes it relatively easy to hybridize.
