Are you an avid (but also occasional, of course) gamer of FIFA 21? Are you a fan, in this case, of FIFA Ultimate Team? Well, this guide is for you. It is no mystery that Electronic Arts has made available, in the latest editions of its FIFA, many alternative ways to unlock card packs, an obvious prerogative of those who spend real money to enhance their team. It will surely fit you, between a daily reward, an unlocked achievement and a completed SBC, to receive packages to open, of ever-changing rarity which, obviously, arouse the interest of gamers. At this point, however, a problem arises: how do you understand, at the time of opening the package, what kind of player happened to you? Not many, in fact, manage to "wait" and would like to understand in advance whether the wait will be worth it or not.
If you too are afflicted by this problem, do not worry: we are here on purpose! With this short guide we want to try to explain how to recognize the rarity of the players that will come out of the packages, with some simple tricks that require your attention when opening the latter. We obviously talk about understanding not the player specifically, it would be impossible, but if he will be a player Common (up to 82), Rare (up to 82), Rare (83-85) with flag, the much loved Walkout (86+) or, finally, the much loved Icons.
Rare or Common
Recognizing a "simple" player, ie those less expensive players (usually) divided only by rarity is very simple. Upon opening the packs, if the player is Rare they will light up with a gold cleat respectively the upper flap on the left and the lower flap on the right, completing everything with a more “colorful” but still imperceptible opening. To recognize a Rare, therefore, just check this small detail that is the lighting of the edges which, in the case of a Common player, would instead remain "off" and monochromatic.
Rare with Flag
This is probably the most difficult to recognize. To understand if it is a "Flag" player, therefore an overall 83-85, you must pay attention to the central part of the screen when opening the package. In practice, if when you open the package you will see in the distance on the lower part of the screen a sort of yellow line, which will then be accompanied by two flashing symbols on the sides of the screen, you will have the certainty of having caught a player from a decidedly more interesting overall and, consequently, potentially of good value and level.
Walkout (86+)
This is the best time (for the players) and also the easiest to understand what kind of card fate has decided to let us draw. We are obviously talking about the Walkout moment, that is, those high level players (86) potentially with the highest value and skills in the game. To recognize a walkout is really very simple: at the moment of opening the package, if you pay attention, next to the package itself you can see three vertical bars which, under "normal" (and more unfortunate) conditions turn on simultaneously. Well, just in case the first of these lights should remain off, you can celebrate: you have found a potential champion.
Icon
A moment that the undersigned has never tried (and never will try): the drop of an Icon of the past. To understand whether or not you have found a similar card is very simple: after noticing the bar off (as in walkouts), you will have to pay attention to the color of the fireworks that are fired after opening the package. As a rule, these lights are yellow (and event-themed color) and, if so instead they were white, you have to start holding your breath: you have found a beautiful Icon.
With the hope that this mini guide will be to your liking and above all that it will be useful to you, I want to pass the ball (it should be said) to you: have you found something good in these first scraps of the year on FIFA? Let's talk together!
