Square Enix and IO Interactive are delighted to announce their collaboration for the physical distribution of Hitman 3, new chapter in the Agent 47 saga. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. The release date is January 20, 2021.
In addition to European countries, Square Enix will distribute the game in the Middle East, Africa and Australasia. Physical Standard and Deluxe editions of the game are bookable. Anyone who pre-orders any edition of the game at participating retailers will receive the Trinity Pack. This includes nine in-game items such as clothes, briefcases and weapons. In addition to the pre-order bonus, those who purchase the Deluxe Edition will have access to exclusive content such as:
- Deluxe escalation contracts
- Deluxe clothing and items
- Digital soundtrack
- "World of HITMAN" digital book
- Comment by the director
IO Interactive also confirmed that users who purchased the current-gen version of Hitman 3 will upgrade to the next-gen version for free. It will also be possible to use VR, as the title supports it. PlayStation VR support will allow you to look your targets in the eye, listen to the conversations of nearby characters and interact with objects using your hands.
