In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced that Horizon: Forbidden West will also arrive on the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation President and CEO has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version will also be released on PlayStation 5 at the same time. For anyone who owns the PlayStation 4 copy, the upgrade to the next-gen version will be free. In addition to this new title, Spider-man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure will also be available on Sony's current generation console.
Horizon: Forbidden West was announced in June during PlayStation's The Future of Gaming Showcase. Nothing is known about the campaign, the only thing that is known is the release in 2021. Another anticipation is that the new enemies that Aloy will have to face will be a dozen.
During yesterday's presentation, in addition to the prices of the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation Plus Collection, there were also new games. Among the various titles seen were Final Fantasy XVI, Demon Soul's and Resident Evil: Village. In addition, there was also a small spoiler regarding Sony Santa Monica's God of War sequel, due out next year.
