The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 it is chock full of very different animal species, both in behavior and in size. The bow is a silent weapon and can be used, as well as during hunting, to silently take down an enemy. Arthur will initially be in possession of the bow equipped with standard arrows, but as you progress through the game it will unlock different types of enhanced arrows.
These arrows can be purchased or simply created by our character through the creation menu, which can be opened while camping near a fire or simply while letting Arthur rest by pressing the triangle button on PlayStation 4 or Y on Xbox One.
Here is a list of the various arrows in the game:
Standard arrow - Present from the start, this type of arrow can be used to hunt or silently take out enemies.
Improved Arrow - Available for purchase from chapter 2 onwards. This type of arrow can be crafted by combining an arrow with a bird feather (which can be obtained by killing any bird) in the crafting menu. This type increases damage compared to that of standard arrows.
Poisoned arrow - Available for purchase from chapter 2 onwards. To create this type of arrow, simply combine a standard arrow with a feather and an oleander plant. Small game scum - In this case it will be enough to combine a standard arrow with a bird pen and a shotgun cartridge. These arrows are smaller than normal and are perfect for catching small animals.
Incendiary arrow - Available for purchase from chapter 2 onwards. To create this arrow you will need to combine a standard arrow with a bird feather and some animal fat. This arrow will allow you to set your target on fire for further damage.
Explosive arrow - Can be purchased and crafted from the end of chapter 3. To get it you need to combine a standard arrow with a bird's feather and some dynamite. This type of arrow will be very useful for getting rid of large groups of enemies.
