As many will know, Mass Effect Andromeda allows you to engage in romance with some of the crew members. Let's go see what is needed to undertake one with Vetra.
Vetra has been present on the Tempest since the first trip we undertake. Talk to her right after the first Eos mission to get the first positive vibes already. To embark on this romance, it doesn't matter if you play the role of a specific Ryder, both women and men will do well.
One of your first answers might be romantic “You are an intense type. I like it." This way we will start on the right foot. If you want to talk to her again, ask her if she has already had someone special in her life. She will answer by asking you in turn, act like a friend by answering "I hope soon".
Talk to Vetra again after destroying or liberating the Kett factory on Voeld. He will have a conversation with you about your family and his. When you can, choose the dialogue option "You are too hard for this." She will reply that she has good feelings about you.
After completing "Hunt for the Archon," head to Vetra and talk to her again. He will tell you about the affections he had before starting the adventure. Choose the romantic option, telling her that she is looking for the right person to explore the galaxy with. Obviously you will refer to herself: Vetra will understand you and remember this sentence.
You will soon receive a message from Vetra. He will ask you to go to Kadara. Head there with the party. It will show you a beautiful view on top of a cliff but you both have to climb it before you can admire it. He will ask you what you want if you arrive first. Obviously, bet on the romantic option. You can climb the cliff with jump jets but don't do it, let it win. You will share a romantic moment, admiring the sky. She will ask you if the feelings between you two are true: tell her that they are and kiss her as soon as you can. This will mark the end of any other romance you may have started.
After completing the mission "Journey to Meridian" look for her on the Tempest: she will have a surprise for you. After dinner, hug her when you are allowed to and enjoy the cutscene.
