After some setbacks in the development process, even characterized by a name change, Immortals Fenyx Rising is finally in the pipeline. As the countdown to launch is about to end, a new video puts the Nintendo Switch edition of the game in direct comparison with the one running on PlayStation 5.
The curators of the GameXplain channel had access to an early version of the former Gods & Monsters, being able to then show the differences between the hybrid console of the big N and the new flagship of Sony. In fact, the first seconds of the film allow to find various dissonances, as it was legitimate to assume. After all, Ubisoft Quebec's latest effort has been in the works for some time and must adapt to various types of hardware. Furthermore, the gap between a new generation platform such as PlayStation 5 and one such as Switch which aims to be both fixed and portable should not be forgotten.
The video at the top of the news highlights the contrast both in terms of resolution and FPS, as well as in the level of detail in the round. Despite this, the work of the Canadian team looks really good and capable of giving a fun experience to owners of any console supported by the title.
Immortals Fenyx Rising will be released on December 3 and in the meantime Ubisoft has revived the excitement with new animated trailers. Waiting to try it firsthand, you can discover our first impressions from the game preview.
