While Square Enix is already working on the second part of Final Fantasy VII Remake, do not subside i rumor on the next main chapter of the famous series JRPG, or Final Fantasy XVI.
It is not the first time that rumors about the next Final Fantasy bounce among the most disparate corners of the web and this time the source comes from the always attentive users of the forum ResetEra. The insider known by the name of Navtra it says sure that Final Fantasy XVI will arrive exclusively on PlayStation 5. It would be a temporal exclusivity which, according to him, would be part of a close agreement between the Japanese company and Sony which, starting from the remaking of the seventh historic chapter, will continue until the next generation with Project Athia and, indeed, with the new title.
Wanting to listen to Navtra, the game was supposed to appear during the last PlayStation event last June, but some sudden changes have been made. The works would be in a more advanced state than Project Athia itself, which would make an almost imminent announcement.
We remind you to take the information with due caution, since it is not supported by official sources and therefore all that remains is to wait for any confirmations or denials from Sony and Square Enix.
