LA Noire, Case 6 - "A perfect wedding"
Once at the crime scene, examine the body and read the insurance document he has in his inside jacket pocket. Also look at the other inside pocket (on the left) to examine the wallet and documents. Talk to the cop and the coroner, then continue down the road to the left. Examine the bloodstains on the ground, then enter the alley and look into the garbage can you encounter on your way to discover the murder weapon, a bloody knife. Collect it and examine it until you find the make and model, as previously done for firearms in the first cases.
Retrace your steps and enter the bar: on the counter you will find one of the 13 collectible newspapers during the game. Now go out again to speak to the witness, Shannon Perry. The answers to be given during the interrogation are:
- Statement 1: TRUE
- Statement 2: TRUE (the woman will correctly describe the suspect vehicle)
- Statement 3: DOUBT
Now go back to the bar to question the bartender. The answers to be given during the conversation are:
- Statement 1: DOUBT
- Statement 2: TRUTH
- Statement 3: DOUBT
- Statement 4: DOUBT
Use the phone inside the cafe to call the station and get the address of your next destination, Shelton's house. Once on the spot you will have to face a car chase: Shelton will try to escape you by going at full throttle, try to follow his trajectory and take him to the door to stop him as soon as possible (pay attention to the damage suffered by your car). Stop him to continue towards Lorna Pattison's residence. Here you will support yet another interrogation. The correct answers are:
- Statement 1: DOUBT
- Statement 2: DOUBT
- STATEMENT 3: FALSE (you have the insurance receipt found in the victim's pocket as proof)
Once the interrogation is over, use the phone to call and ask for the address of the morgue, your next destination. Here the coroner will give you information about the murder weapon and at the end of the conversation you will have to go back to the Pattison house. Once in place, Leroy will shoot Pattison and escape: chase him and try to block him by firing a warning shot in the air, as done in the previous cases. If you fail, at some point the fugitive will take a hostage. Take good aim and just hit your opponent saving the hostage to complete the case.
