After celebrating the wedding, your bride or groom will join your clan as companions. Spend some time with them in a settlement where you tell them to stay and then, through a notification, you will be notified by the game that you or your spouse will be expecting a baby. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is still in early access version and, in case your female PC is pregnant, there should be no problem in being able to continue fighting and traveling even if in the future it seems that TaleWorlds wants to include the possibility that a wife may unfortunately die during childbirth.
Once you or your partner are pregnant you will have to wait a few seasons to receive a second notification in which it will be communicated to you the birth of your heir.
