While many players are waiting to find out what Square Enix has in store for the second part of Final Fantasy VII Remake, some rumors say that the news on the first part is not over.. The sure thing is that there is an exclusivity agreement until April on the PlayStation 4. From the rumors circulating, however, it seems that there is a PlayStation 5 and PC version in the pipeline. Although they are just rumors, this seems not to be the usual porting.
On a famous forum, a well-known insider / leaker gave more details on this alleged edition. It is rumored that this version of the game should have been released about 8 months ago along with Project Athia and Final Fantasy XVI. This did not happen and the information may be out of date, but the port may not have been cleared.
It seems that it is not simply a version of Final Fantasy VII Remake with increased resolution, but that there are also some unpublished contents of the story. No further details have been provided whether they are just extra side missions or a complete new scenario. The thing that might surprise you most is the absence of an Xbox version, which is odd given that the series has been cross-platform for many years.
