As you well know, Onimusha: Warlords, the famous samurai-themed Capcom adventure title released in 2001 on PlayStation 2, was released this year starting from January 15th also on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. For long-time players and newbies, we want to offer you some complete guides on where to find and how to recover all the jewels in the game, which can be very useful in various areas.
In fact, scattered throughout the game map, there are two different types of jewels: it is the jewels of power and the magical ones.
This type of object will allow you to save yourself very often from bad situations, greatly reducing the use of any herbs or medicines during the adventure, as they will increase the character's life bar. In fact, when both the magic and health bars are maximized, they will extend 3/4 horizontally, allowing you to resist enemies during battles for a longer duration.
In this guide, in particular, we will talk about the Magic Jewels:
This is an upgrade that allows the player to use magic attacks more frequently. Each jewel increases the magic bar by a small amount; However, when accumulated, as in the case of jewels of power, magical ones can greatly increase the offensive capacity by removing the worry of being able to exhaust the amount of magical power in the course of one or two special attacks.
In fact, the magic bar, once maximized thanks to the use of these objects, will extend into the game panel as much as that of life thanks to the jewels of power, that is to say about 3/4 of the space present in the gameplay panel.
Impersonating Kaede unfortunately it will not be possible to equip these upgrades, but you can (and we strongly advise you to do so as soon as possible) use them as soon as you return to control Samanosuke.
Finally, through the enhancement of these jewels, you will receive the ability to launch devastating attacks against enemies and even against some bosses. Once the weapons are fully developed, it will even be possible to inflict greater damage along with magical attacks, thus making Samanosuke particularly strong in battle.
Recognizing the magical jewels on the ground is very simple, due to their bluish color and their crescent shape.
Below we therefore report the exact location of all magical jewelry present in the game map, sorted by appearance. We remind you that for some of these it will be necessary to make particular moves or search in certain places, as they are well hidden in the ground.
- Immediately after exiting the underground temple, near the statue in the forest. Move to Samanosuke's right and open the chest. It may be difficult to see initially, as it is hidden.
- Immediately after arriving in the main hall of the Castle, on the second floor. Save the two soldiers by killing the zombies with the bow. Do not leave the room. To take the farthest soldier out the procedure is very simple, while for the closest one you will need to go to the right pillar, using manual aiming. Wait for the two soldiers to drop their items and retrieve the jewel.
- Just before the door that requires the gold and silver plates to open, in the west area. The power-up is in the chest: to open it, select the fifth, first and second characters, and then retrieve the item.
- Enter the huge building in the east area, climb up and open the chest closest to the ladder to get the magic jewel.
- Go inside the lake house next to the waterfall and open the chest next to the save point. To unlock it, select the third and sixth characters.
Once you have followed all these guidelines, you will be able to obtain all the jewels of power in the game, thus managing to increase your magic attack bar by 3/4!
