In the last few hours it has emerged that Sony filed an interesting patent earlier this year. This patent seems to suggest that the next console Sony: PlayStation 5 is compatible with PSP e PlayStation Vita; this particular compatibility apparently can be used for some specific features of the console. The patent filed in February by Sony, released only in August, lists a number of compatible devices. According to the patent, these devices are compatible since the launch of PlayStation 5.
Currently Sony hasn't officially mentioned this compatibility, so we don't know for sure if this feature will be available at the launch of the console. Most likely the two portable consoles of Sony, will be used for remote play. Furthermore, as can be seen from the patent, the two consoles can be used for other features not yet announced. We remind you that the release of PlayStation 5 is currently scheduled for late 2020. Stay tuned!
