One of the funniest aspects of Pokémon GO consists in the collection and hatching of eggs.
Here is a guide on everything you need to know.
What are eggs?
All Pokémon are born from eggs laid by their mothers. Even if two Pokémon of different species can mate, the baby will always be the same type as the mother.
In Pokémon GO it is not possible to reproduce Pokémon, and the one found inside an egg depends on the time it takes to hatch and on chance.
At the bottom of this guide is an image showing in detail which Pokémon can be found inside the eggs.
How do I find an egg?
There are various places to get eggs, the most common being PokéStops. Eggs are among the items randomly distributed by PokéStops. You can have a maximum of 9 eggs at a time.
Where do I find the eggs I got?
In the Pokémon menu, at the top right, the eggs in our possession are marked. Just click on this option to see them all.
How do I hatch a Pokémon egg?
To hatch the eggs you have to walk! There are 3 types of eggs: 2, 5 and 10 km, obviously it is necessary to walk (or by bike) the km required for hatching.
The more there is to walk, the better the Pokémon found.
The Pokémon GO application must remain open throughout the hatching time, otherwise the steps are not counted.
Do I need an item to hatch my Pokémon Eggs?
To start hatching the eggs you need to put them in an incubator.
Fortunately, one of these Incubators is already available at the start of the game, and you can use it an unlimited number of times.
Attention: each Incubator can only accommodate one egg at a time, so those who want to hatch more eggs at the same time must invest in additional Incubators, which can be found among the random objects left by the PokéStops or when you level up, or in the shop, at the price of 150 coins.
To put an egg inside an incubator, select the egg from the menu, then click on "Put in the incubator", at this point the available incubators will be shown (those not used are colored, those in use are gray) , by clicking on one at the free moment the egg will be incubated.
Can I drive to hatch my eggs faster?
The bicycle, yes. The car, no.
The game will not count as a valid movement a movement faster than 20 km per hour.
