Pokémon Let's Go: the Pokémon exclusive to the two versions

Pokémon Let's Go: the Pokémon exclusive to the two versions

Like any self-respecting Pokémon game, even in Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee! It is not possible to catch all Pokémon with only one version of the game: there are in fact Pokémon exclusive in one or the other version for Nintendo Switch.

The concept of monsters that can be transferred via cable (or nowadays wireless) to complete the Pokédex has been present since the dawn of time, so much so that some Pokémon, as we all know, evolve only through this mechanic, which thus becomes an opportunity for sharing. typical of the Pokémon world (and profit opportunities for Nintendo, of course). If you want all, absolutely all Pokémon in Pokémon: Let's Go !, in short, you will need a friend with a different version of the game.

Pokémon Let's Go: the Pokémon exclusive to the two versions

The two titles offer 12 exclusive Pokémon each and among these there are not the Let's Go mascots, Pikachu and Eevee. This means that depending on the hooked version during the adventure you will meet and you will be able to capture other specimens of Pikachu and Eevee in addition to your starter, which however will not be the same in all respects to your main friend. In fact, your starter will be able to count on a wider set of moves along with unique skills compared to its wild counterparts. For all other Pokémon, you'll need to trade them from Pokémon GO or from another version of the game.

If you haven't purchased your copy of Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee yet the choice of the version depends not only on the mascot but also on the exclusive Pokémon. Let's go through them by type and meeting area, in order to help you choose:

Exclusive Pokémon are pretty standard: duos like Oddish / Bellsprout, Growlithe / Vulpix, Grimer / Koffing and Scyther / Pinsir, in fact, are often seen as pairs of mirror Pokémon and therefore suitable for exclusivity. It will be necessary to make a decision even with the Pokédex in plain sight, to see if some type of Pokémon can be more or less replaced by another present in the chosen version.
