The Pokémon Company has announced that a new wave of ban will hit Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Home.
The announcement comes from Serebii, the portal par excellence on pocket monsters: according to The Pokémon Company, some players are using altered save files that are causing problems for others. For this reason, bans will affect anyone who has modified their save file in some way to take advantage of it and at the same time spoil the playing experience of other coaches.
Who will be caught red-handed and therefore will go against the Terms of Service stipulated will not be allowed to access Pokémon Sword and Shield online or trade and use Pokémon via Pokémon Home. The sanctions can be temporary or permanent, and without the possibility of reimbursement or compensation.
These measures, which will be carried out regularly, continues the press release, arise from the fact that some players modify the saves to capture rare Pokémon, with good IVs, shiny, unobtainable or all this together. These can then be received by unsuspecting trainers via Magic Exchange and lead to save corruption and other problems.
Anyone who has received such a Pokémon via random exchange shouldn't worry, but to be sure it would be best to free the creature.
Recall that this year marks 25 years of Pokémon: among the celebrations, in addition to nostalgic Pokémon TCG cards, there is also New Pokémon Snap, out on April 30.
