Capcom's third remake would not be the same without the presence of the iconic Magnum pistol capable of firing .44 MAG bullets and enjoying the enormous satisfaction that it is capable of giving in hitting the zombies that infest the wild world present in the game. It is a much more effective and fun weapon than the gun you carry with you and is a great friend to make your way through the streets of Raccoon City to the sound of headshots.
Whether you are a Resident Evil 3 Remake fan or new to Capcom shooter you will want to add the Magnum to your arsenal as soon as possible and we offer you a guide on where to find it.
You will find the Magnum pistol in the final stages of Resident Evil 3 Remake and if you are playing as Jill and you will find yourself at Spencer Memorial Hospital do the following:
- Go upstairs, the 2F.
- Take the door on the left to access the roof and walk around to the well-lit door on the right.
- Go straight to the nurses room and stop outside the door, don't go inside. To your left is a pile of hospital equipment, including stacked beds and chairs.
- Head over to the pile and when you get close to it Jill will automatically crouch to crawl through a crevice underneath the equipment.
- Then go down to the courtyard using the open window.
- You will find a silver case inside which you will find the Magnum!
Note: There will be other recoverable items in other sections of the courtyard and to access each of them you will only ever have to go up to floor 2F and go down through the open windows you will find.
How to make ammunition for the Magnum
The Magnum pistol uses 44-caliber MAG bullets and can hold 8 at a time. To create a small stock of bullets you will need to combine two high-grade gunpowders together. The ammunition for this weapon, unlike the ones for the standard pistol and shotgun, will be quite difficult to find so use them sparingly especially if you play as Jill. If you play as Carlos instead, you will find the ammo for the assault rifle more easily.
