According to sources that are far from confirmed, Resident Evil Village would have a release date set for April 2021 with the release of a demo shortly before, as happened recently with Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake. This is what emerges from a report posted on ResetEra and containing details on other Capcom titles. This leak is related to the recent hacking attack of the Japanese company's network on November 2, made public by a statement from the same company in which maximum security for customer data was guaranteed.
Beyond the veracity or otherwise of the leaked indiscretions, the date of April 2021 could be plausible also in consideration of the launch of Resident Evil 3 Remake, which took place in the same period but this year.
Capcom has made official that Resident Evil Village will arrive in the course of 2020 but without providing a launch date, and we know that slips are sadly on the agenda with long-awaited titles, think for example of the now multi-postponed Cyberpunk 2077, and that you cannot afford flops. We just have to wait for the voice of Capcom to know if Resident Evil Village will really arrive in April 2021, while the only certainty are at the moment its release platforms: PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
