Capcom wanted to take advantage of the Showcase window PlayStation 5 to present a new trailer, flanked by unreleased screenshots, by Resident evil village, next chapter of the famous horror franchise resident evil.
The first-person survival horror will develop after the events narrated in the previous one Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and will see again as the protagonist Ethan Winters and his wife, Mia. The couple, who apparently managed to find peace after the dramatic experience they lived on the Baker plantation, will see their lives turned upside down again after the arrival of Chris Redfield, which will reveal a disturbing truth to them and plunge them into a whole new nightmare.
The players will also be amazed by the completely new role of Chris who, already met in other chapters of the saga, in the eighth title will abandon his role as hero to take on much more sinister clothes.
Resident evil village, according to the company, will make players experience a completely new horror experience, thanks to the union of the first person view with the terrifying - and extremely realistic - environments created in the smallest detail through the RE Engine.
The latter in fact, combined with the power of the new consoles Xbox Series X e PlayStation 5, will provide hyper-detailed graphics, perfect for bringing to life the eerie village within which the story will unfold. In addition to providing a mysterious backdrop for all the terrible events that will unfold throughout the game, the location and its inhabitants will become actual game characters, providing Ethan with many mysteries to investigate and as many enemies to escape from.
Resident evil village will land on console PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X e PC means Steam in the course of 2021.
