The ending of Superhot: Mind Control Delete is… controversial. Certainly this is a conclusion that can only be found in games of this genre, and the way in which it is presented is rather ambiguous. In this short guide we will explain how to unlock the Superhot Mind Control Delete ending, which is not at all obvious as it seems.
After completing the adventure, the final node will be unlocked: by pressing it, a message will appear in which the game will ask us whether to restore the "lost save data". Once you get to this screen you will not be able to do anything but wait for real hours. If the version of the software you are using is vanilla you will have to wait 8 hours with the console on, while if you have updated the game it will only take 2 and a half hours. Resting won't work, the only possible workaround is to modify the shmcd.save file in the Superhot game files: within this file you have to search for the string ZB and, in correspondence with this, change the letter V with an H.
Once the (which we advise you to keep in backup) you will be able to restart the game and get past the lock screen. Otherwise, as we said above, just wait with the console on for the hours indicated based on the version in your possession, and once the wait is over you can finally access the secret ending.
