Following its announcement at last week's The Game Awards, The Callisto Protocol has sparked tremendous interest among fans of the horror genre and lovers of the Dead Space series. In fact, the title is openly inspired by the historic Visceral Games saga. The developers have released a new version of the trailer, even more terrifying.
We will be catapulted to Callisto, a satellite of Jupiter in 2320, and we will have to try to escape from the Black Iron maximum security prison, surviving and discovering terrifying secrets. Glen Schofield, the CEO of Striking Distance, said that their intent is to create, in the footsteps of Dead Space, one of the scariest horror ever created.
To find out more though, we'll have to wait until next year while the game is scheduled to be released in 2022 on new generation PCs and consoles.
