Ubisoft unveiled the new service Ubisoft Connect, an evolution of Uplay and Ubisoft Club, which introduces new features to the gaming hub. On the blog of the software house, Charles Huteau and Stephanie Perrotti, Creative Director on Ubisoft Connect and VP of Online Services, talked about the new features of the function and what users get from the new service, reaching new experiences between consoles and the PC.
Charles Huteau explained: “Ubisoft Connect is cloud-based, which means we can do things like update any video game on any platform independently of the title itself. Ubisoft Connect is a new totally cross-platform service, things like cross-platform play and progression between console and PC are something that users have come to expect ».
Stephanie Perrotti added: «This is an evolution of Ubisoft's services, the company and video games. We are building this unified ecosystem to truly support our teams in creating the best gaming experiences possible and giving it to users. We want everyone to have the same experience on different platforms, the same access to our service.
