How do you use the experience command in Minecraft?
First of all, you should know that, in order to use this command, you need to have mode «Cheat» active during the game. Process that you can perform just before starting, in the advanced creation options, by pressing "Yup" on the option it says "Allow cheats."
Now, if you have already created your world a long time ago and you have progress, in addition to the accumulated things, it is normal that you do not want to lose any of this, and still be able to use the cheats within the game, this , fortunately, it has a simple solution.
All you have to do is open the game menu by pressing "Esc" and select the option that says "LAN", when you do, two options will appear. These are the game mode and the command permissions in it, you need to set the latter to true or "Yup" to be able to use the shortcuts freely.
Once the "Cheat mode", you can already have the large number of cheats that the game has and, of course, use the experience command in Minecraft, which this time is the most interesting.
In this sense, you start by pressing «T», so, like any shortcut in this game, you have to proceed by writing one "/" for it to take effect and, after this character, you will write the abbreviated word experience, that is «xp», followed by a space and finally the number of levels you want to add to the bar, which can be 10, 100 or whatever you want.
I want to reduce the experience, how do I do it?
If you know something about Minecraft, it is that, just as there are positive effects, there are also negative ones, that is, you can usually activate some rule or rule of the game, but you can also deactivate it using the same method.
In short, just as there is an experience command in Minecraft, which can grant you several levels, there is one that can reduce them by choosing the amount you have to loot from your character.
And, of course, you can get it the same way as in the previous step, starting by pressing "T" on the keyboard, to open the dialog box, which also works as a console, and enter the shortcut you used earlier to increase the experience «/ xp» but. This time, with a little difference.
Instead of putting the positive number, for example «/ xp 10», you should do this by inserting a negative symbol before the number. Something like that: «/ xp -10». When you press "Enter" for the command to be valid, you will see how immediately the total levels you have indicated will be subtracted. Which in this case is 10.
