Customers who have preordered Xbox X series on Amazon have been warned that they may not receive their console in time for launch date of November 10th. Not very dissimilar to what has already happened for Sony's next-gen competitor, in fact.
The text of the received (and verified) email that alarmed some customers:
Hello,
We are contacting you regarding your Xbox Series X order to inform you in advance that you may not receive this item the day it is released due to high demand. We are making every effort with the supplier to get more inventory. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
What is certain is that the production and launch of next-gen consoles have suffered not a little from the effects of the global Covid pandemic, and it was only natural that the delays experienced by the publication of many major titles, for example, also occurred on the hardware. Both have quickly burned out any pre-orders available, perhaps even beyond the optimistic expectations of the two multinationals. If you are a day-one maniac, activate notifications and stay alert!
UPDATE: At the moment the news of the delay on the Xbox Series X pre-orders is officially confirmed only for the US market, it is not known whether further news will follow from Amazon also regarding our country.
