Zalman is a manufacturer that has disappeared from radar for several years, but it seems the company has decided to return to the market by releasing two high-end air coolers.
The Zalman CNPS17X and the Zalman CNPS20X they can be used on high-end processors and really follow the standardized aluminum heat pipe design. Armed with Reverse Direct Touch, or simply some heat pipes Direct Touch, these two heat sinks have all the credentials to be excellent products. The CNPS17X has five heat pipes, while the CNPS20X it has six. The fan ZM-SF140 rotates about a 800 ~ 1500 rpm for an air flow of 61CFM. The CNPS17X measures only 160 mm in height, for 700 g, while the CNPS20X weighs 1300 g for a height of 165 mm. Both are compatible with recent sockets, except the TR4.
The prices have not yet been declared by the manufacturer, but Zalman has always had a reputation as an “affordable” brand. Therefore, we can probably expect to see a price that fluctuates between 25 and 50 dollars. This will depend on whether you choose the single heatsink CNPS17X or the double heatsink CNPS 20X. Whichever you choose, however, your PC will certainly benefit.
