Completely surprisingly, the team of Blue Box Game Studios has announced a new title, currently in development, entitled Abandoned, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The title is still in the early stages of development but the developers have managed to present it anyway through a trailer, in which something is already revealed.
The title is a first-person survival horror that will enjoy an open world very devoted to realism. Players will take on the role of Jason Longfield who will wake up in a rather strange forest, abandoned and without the slightest idea of how he got there: only by exploring and surviving will he know for what purpose he was brought there. The realistic approach will obviously impact the gameplay. For example, after a sprint in the race if Jason is short of breath, he will not be able to take good aim to shoot which, regardless, it will not be easy. You will have to weigh your choices and act accordingly, with a tactical approach.
Many in-game events and actions taken by Jason will be highlighted by a peculiar vibration of the DualSense of the Sony home console, favoring immersion. The team has already confirmed that a gameplay trailer will be released soon and, fingers crossed, Abandoned is expected to arrive in the last quarter of 2021 on PlayStation 5!
