The third chapter developed by Larian Studios cannot yet come out of early access.
Fans Baldur's Gate could welcome this news with some disappointment: apparently the third chapter of the successful series of the same name is not ready to leave early access yet. The unknown to which players have not yet received an answer is when they will be able to access version 1.0 of the title.
According to some newspapers, the CEO of Larian Studios, Swen Vicke, he was not crystal clear about it. He stated how much more work there is to do on Baldur'Baldur's Gate 3, referring specifically to difficulty in adding elements in such a large title to the point of not having the elements of the ending yet.
“So we still have quite some work ahead of us, but we do know what we're making and when we're going to be… we'll know when we're at the end, so it is visible. It's just still a lot of work. "
Vincke is also keen to clarify how the pandemic has played an important and negative role in the development of Baldur's Gate 3, forcing the developers to work from home. Vicke himself underlines how important the community, which still plays a crucial role today thanks to the amount of feedback it sends them, perhaps even impatient to see the fruit of the work of the studios. Despite all these problems you can access the game's early access which, according to Larian Studio, has sold a disproportionate amount of copies.
Although it is not yet possible to see the light outside the tunnel, we all hope that Larian Studio will let us savor the latest chapter of Baldur's Gate very soon.
