Electronic Arts and DICE unveil the new chapter of the famous war franchise.
After a whole series of indiscretions, rumors and so on, here it is Battlefield 2042 makes its appearance thanks to the official announcement of Electronic Arts and DICE happened through the release of a long trailer. Therefore, Battlefield 6 will not be the title of the new chapter of the DICE war franchise but Battlefield 2042 as confirmed by the reveal trailer that sets the launch date for October 22, 2021.
Battlefield 2042 will feature multiplayer matches for up to 128 players on PC and next-generation consoles Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5 (will be 64 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4) including real-time events that can change the war scenario and the approach to battle. Among the important innovations that of the Specialists, a new type of playable soldier and characterized by a unique specialty and trait, as well as customizable equipment.
